Gearing up for the Holidays

And I thought the kids were into Christmas last year....  I had no idea just how like their Mama they are!  When we drive in the minivan, they don't want to watch movies anymore, they want the Christmas music on.  Lukes favorite song is "Jingle Bell Rock" and"Santa Claus is Coming to Town."  When we walk through any store they oooh and ahhhh over every Christmas decoration.  They are so loud (and I don't even care) that everyone in the store looks at us.  Last week I went to the dollar store and bought some crafts that we worked on. Luke has been so inventive lately, making cup castles and Christmas tree forts.

Last Tuesday, at a little over 16 months, Sydney started standing up on her own without using any furniture. Yesterday she took her first step and today she did it again, yay! She will be walking in no time!
