Mexico: Part Six (Our Suite)
Our suite at Grand Velas was awesome! We had our own little plunge pool on the balcony and a view of the ocean. If we would of chose to, we could of spent the day on our balcony in privacy instead of going to the pool. It is nice to have that option. Luke and Ava slept in one queen bed and Sydney, Steve and I slept in the other bed. There was a big jacuzzi tub and a walk in closet.

Naughty girl
Today while Mommy was talking to Auntie Jen on the phone, the candy dish was attacked by Sydney. She left all of the wrappers, otherwise I probably never would of known.

Dad's Day at Preschool
Right before we left for Mexico, their was a Dad's Day celebration at Preschool. Both Sydney and Ava sang Daddy a song and then celebrated with cookies and juice!
Butterflies and Baby Guppies
For Luke's 6th Birthday this year, we bought him a 10 gallon fish tank. At the present moment we have 4 tetras (2 different types,) smokey the snail, froggy, an upside down catfish and an albino algae sucking fish. At the girl's preschool the guppies had about 20 babies. They let us take home some so now we have a cage of 8 baby guppies floating around. When they get big enough, they can swim in the tank with the other fish.
We also hatched some butterflies and let them go last night. We received 5 caterpillars in the mail and watched them make their cocoons. About 10 days later we had beautiful "painted lady" butterfly's that we let go yesterday in the back yard. The kids love projects like these, especially Luke and Mommy!

Mother's Day 2013
Happy Mother's Day to me! I am the luckiest Mommy in the world to have such an awesome family who gives me so much love every day! I will never take my family for granted, they are the best!
Today we are spending the day in downtown Seattle at the Mariners game. It is Little League Day at the stadium. The kids are super excited for the game!

Mexico: Part Five (Landscapes)
Yes, this trip was really THIS awesome.... to deserve me blogging about it for almost a month now. I have a few chapters left. Here are some of my favorite shots of the pool, the beach, the trees and sky! It was windy which was nice because it did not feel like the 90 degrees it was. We didn't really have any rain, even though the sky's in some photos look like storms.
This was the view from our room... sunrise in the morning!

Mexico: Part Four (Family Beach Pictures)
I am still editing some photos from vacation and Steve and I are still dreaming about going back to Mexico.... sigh. We have our trip to Florida to look forward too now! The weather in Seattle has felt like Mexico, no joke! We have played outside in our yard everyday in our pool and with the slip and slide. We have been grilling every night and laying our blankets in the sunshine in the grass to eat dinner. It feels like summer and we have been loving it!
In Mexico, it was very windy, especially at the beach. We had so much fun making mud castles in the wet sand. Then the kids would have a blast wrecking them!
