New fun park

We have been so busy having to manage our backyard project that we have not had much free time to enjoy parks, swimming and friends the past few weeks.  We took a break from all of it yesterday and went to an unassuming park a few minutes from our house.  Little did I know there was a beautiful flowing creek filled with craw daddy's, beavers and fish!  The walking trails look perfect for us to bring our sweet puppy to!  The kids enjoyed their buddies as did I!  What a nice peaceful break from the chaos of our backyard!

Puppy Video!

Our Puppy Video

Lucy at 6 weeks

Today we visited Lucy.  She is just as sweet as she was last week.  Loved to be held and was gentle with the kids.  We dropped off our cat kennel and blankets with our smell.  Next week Lois will be trying to get her used to sleeping without her litter mates so the adjustment to her new home will be easier.  Only 2 weeks until we get her and we can't wait!  Even Dad is excited!  We will be bringing her home on July 30th.

July 4th 2015

We celebrated the 4th of July in Bothell this year.  At 11am we walked downtown and picked up fraps, sushi and lemonade and hit the parade with Nadine, Billy and the kids.  The kids decorated their tshirts last night.  I designed Ava's as she desired. Sydney wanted a decorated bow for her hair.  They each picked out a design for their face and I painted it on.  We even did red, white and blue hair.  This summer has been record hot temps.... Really unbelievable!   It is so dry that it is concerning for fireworks.  Tonight's plan is to let them off in our dirt filled backyard.  Luke is so excited about the tanks.  This will be the first year that I am letting them stay up late for fireworks, yay!
