Luke's end of year schoolwork

School's out for summer!

Yay!
So proud of my kiddos for their achievements this year!  Sydney's first year of preschool being the youngest in the class and flourishing into the little girl she has become.  Ava, always excited to go to school and see her friends!  She never complained or didn't want to go.  And Lukey, for completing his first year of real school.... can't believe he is going to be in 1st grade.  I get teary eyed thinking about him getting older and not being home with me as much during the day next school year.  Congrats kiddos, Daddy and I are so proud of you!

Lukey's Last Day of Kindergarten

It was a bright sunny day when I dropped Luke off for his last day of school today.  We wait for the school bus a couple streets over by the farm.  The dandelions and wild daisies are in full bloom right now, it is very pretty!

The Final Chapter of Mexico: Close-ups

I finally got around to editing some of the close-ups from Mexico....  There really wasn't a lot to edit because they are so beautiful "as is."  Next up.... I have to go thru my 400 plus photos of our Florida Trip.

Another Baseball Season Over...

Luke has made such huge improvements in baseball this year.  He and his team are a great bunch of kids and we are going to miss going to the games to cheer on our little Mariners!  We celebrated how good the boys and girls were this year at Uncle Petesa's.  I made baseball cupcakes and Luke received a medal to add to his little trophy collection.  Yay Luke!

Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Icing!

Living Art

Yesterday was baking day for me.  I volunteered to make the baseball cupcakes for Luke's end of year Baseball Ceremony and some cake pops for Sydney's last day of school to celebrate her birthday.  I should know that when the girls are being too quiet and too good that they are up to no good.  They were just on the the other side of the kitchen Island and I was gabbing on the phone to Auntie Jen.  I looked up and saw 2 brightly colored versions of Sydney and Ava.  Not only were faces, arms and legs covered, but palms and bottoms of the feet were too!  Ava refused to take a bath at night and wanted to have it on for school today!  As much as I rather they do something else constructive than draw all over themselves,  I can't help but love and nurture their creativity... namely Ava as she was the artist!

Movie night

We try to do it every sunday night.  We pop popcorn and snuggle up on the couch in the media room.  Life is good :)

Backyard fun with neighbors!

We love our new neighbors and the great weather we have had in May and now June.  Today was a perfect day to receive an early Birthday gift for Sydney from Grammy and Pop Pop.  The kids had so much fun with their new sailboat pool complete with a steering wheel and anchor.

The Girls...

A couple days before we left for vacation to see Nana, the girls and I spent the afternoon at the mall and we had so much fun!  We could of stayed there all day!  Gymboree had an awesome sale and I bought them some dresses... here are a couple of them!

Sydney is swimming!

Now Luke, Ava and Sydney can swim on their own.  Syd still needs a floaty to help her but with it in can swim all over and even do twirls.

Fun at Nana's!

Here are a few pictures of the fun we have had at Nana's from her iPhone!  We have been here for almost 2 weeks!  Luke is always ready to go home from vacations but not this time... he was sad when I told him that tomorrow is our last day.

Watching old Lass Films...

Young Stevo pretending to smoke a cigar... this was a year before we met! LOL!

Lukey before his Florida tan!

Playing with Uncle Dougie and his amazing block creations!

Eating at the hibachi grill!

We saw Epic in 3D

Fun at Seaworld!

Luke won 2 stuffed animals for he and Ava....

Today we went to Seaworld and had a blast. We lasted 9 whole hours and then some!  Since there were 5 of us, an uneven number, Luke volunteered to ride a rollercoaster all by himself.  We learned that Luke loves the scary rides, Ava is scared of heights, and Sydney is easy to lose in big crowds :s.  what a great day Nana and I had... And of course the kids.   These are from Nana's iphone.
