Camping at Denny Creek

We decided to go camping again this past weekend.  We were on the fence due to the hard time the kids had sleeping at Verlot, namely Sydney.  I am glad Janis and Jonathan convinced us to go because we had the BEST time.  The Vickerman's ended up joining us on Saturday and Justin wanted us to hike to Franklin Falls.  It was beautiful and the weather was just PERFECT the whole time!  Note to self not to wear crocs the next time we go as Luke and I were sliding all over the rocks.  We split the kids up in 2 different tents and put Sydney in the play and they all slept well!  The guys went fly fishing and they and Jamie caught some trout.  Jonathan filleted it and we all got to try it.  It was yummy!  The kids all played so well together and had so much playing in the creek and with the portable water table.  We enjoyed our awesome friends, laughed, ate good food and stayed up late talking around the campfire.  Can't wait for our next camping trip!
