Poor Ava stepped on a nail when we were at the new home site :( Luke was closest to her when it happened and he went to help free her foot from the board and the whole board moved with her foot. Luckily Daddy stayed very calm while Mommy freaked out and we all were rushed to the hospital while Mommy drove. Ava got her footed wrapped and clean and had her first xray to make sure it didn't hit a bone. It was a deep puncture and the top of her foot is swollen from it :( Ava barely cried and is the strongest little girl I know! She got to keep the picture of the xray of her foot and the doctors gave her a teddy bear that she named "Fuzzy" for being so brave!
